the most important thing that should be done with regard to
psychotropic drugs is to educate the public as to what they are
exactly. Personally, no matter how bad my depression was, I would
never have taken a drug which "caused" a chemical imbalance. The
current literature on these drugs leads a person to believe that
they are simply restoring natural levels of neurotransmitters which
are mood elevating just like exercise and sunshine would. No one
ever told me that antidepressants were really depressive in nature
or that they would do unhealthy things to me like make me feel

behavior while under
the influence of three different meds (at

these meds and only wish that I had known them before they were
